The Ritz-Carlton, Naples will undergo an expansive refurbishment this summer. The redesign⎯⎯the first of its kind in the resort’s history and one of the largest resort renovations within the company’s portfolio⎯⎯will be unveiled on October 1st.
Designed by Wimberly Interiors, the project will include the 450 guestrooms and suites, the corridors, three dinning outlets, the ballroom, and various structural, mechanical, and engineering upgrades.
Guestrooms will resemble a residential beach home with a palette of warm blue, green, and gray hues inspired by the Gulf of Mexico. Clean lines and upscale fabrics will align with the Ritz-Carlton’s sophisticated appeal.
Three of the resort’s restaurants will be fully re-mastered by Wilson Associates’ specialty food and beverage studio, Blueplate Studios. The Sushi Bar⎯⎯to be rebranded as the Bar⎯⎯will extend its balcony to provide additional outdoor seating with views of the Gulf of Mexico. The interior will be divided into smaller areas, while also creating an open space for small events and entertainment.
The Terrace will reopen as Terrazzaan Italian eatery serving three meals daily. A glass atrium with fully retractable doors will provide a seaside café feel with indoor and outdoor seating. Refreshing its fabrics and décor, the Grill steakhouse and specialty restaurant will also be updated with a contemporary style.
Among the event spaces, the Artisans “princess” ballroom is meant to resemble a jewel box with silver, white, and light gray tones. New chandeliers will add sparkle to the space’s expanded floorplan.
The two-month project⎯⎯during which the resort will not be accepting guests for the first time⎯⎯is set to begin on July 24th.
