The Westin St. Francis in San Francisco has completed a $20 million renovation of the Tower Building. Completed in celebration of its 110th anniversary, the renovation marks the hotel’s largest since it opened in 1972 as an addition to the historic 1904 landmark building.
Remodeled by the design team at Strategic Hotels & Resorts-owners of the Westin St. Francis-the guestrooms and corridors are styled in cool blue, ivory, taupe, and rusty red. Each room features custom-designed rich dark wood furniture, airy light-colored wall coverings, and large bay windows with floor-to-ceiling curtains.

Modern paintings and mixed media artwork by three San Francisco artists adds a local urban aesthetic throughout the suites and corridors, while guestroom artwork by Los Angeles painter Alex Couwenberg brings a touch of colorful Southern California culture.
