Wilson Associates has announced the success of its 2011 Point of Excellence Awards Luncheon. The event, which hosted 200 A&D professionals on June 29 at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills, Calif., recognized Marichu Celis of Marichu Celis, Inc., and Geoff Wallace of Design Alliance Los Angeles with a 2011 Point of Excellence Award for their exemplary service to the design community.
“Giving back is part of the corporate culture at Wilson Associates. It’s who we are as a company,” says Wilson Associates president and CEO Trisha Wilson. “We believe that no matter the state of the economy, we have a responsibility to give back to others, and we will stay the course… I am also very grateful for all the vendors and service providers in our industry who have continued to support us through these challenging times.”
The annual program for vendors and service providers directly benefits The Wilson Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization established in 1997 by Wilson to address the needs of disadvantaged and underserved children, with a focus on those in the rural South African region.
The firm’s Dallas Office similarly will host an awards event on November 18 at the Ritz Carlton Dallas.
