Thompson Hotels has acquired Hotel Victor in Miami Beach. The luxury hotel group will rebrand the hotel as Thompson Ocean Drive through a multimillion-dollar makeover to guestrooms and public spaces. The project is scheduled for completion in early 2012.
The hotel, which opened in 1936, underwent a major restoration by designer Jacques Garcia in 2004. Amenities include an infinity pool, Spa V, BICE Ristorante and BICE Café, three lounges and bars, and 6,000 square feet of unique indoor and outdoor meeting and event spaces.
