Tropicana Las Vegas is ready to introduce elements of its $165 million transformation to restore the property to its landmark status. Bringing in touches of South Beach, guestrooms and suites are accented with bamboo furnishings, while white plantation shutters fame the windows. The first of the new hotel rooms will be unveiled on April 23 in the Paradise Tower.
Renovations to the conference center are already complete, with more than 100,000 square feet of versatile meeting and function space that can accommodate up to 3,000 people. Meanwhile, the famous pool area, set on over four acres, will be transformed into a tropical beach resort complete with gaming, bars, and restaurants. F&B concepts will include seafood restaurants, casual dining outlets, and wine tasting; entertainment and nightlife will comprise a 1,000-seat showroom, a 300-seat cabaret-style room, and a bar and lounge. The casino will be flanked by Thassos white marble from Greece.
