The Trump Hotel Collection and ESquared Hospitality are partnering to launch BLT Prime at Trump National Doral Miami. Opening in February 2014, the steakhouse makes up part of the property’s $250 million renovation.
Designed by Peter Niemitz of Boston-based Niemitz Design Group, in collaboration with Eric Trump, BLT Prime will center around a dramatic circular bar. The restaurant’s contemporary interiors will reflect the BLT Prime aesthetic⎯⎯clean lines and walnut, leather, and suede finishes⎯⎯and be combined with Trump elements like intricate millwork and natural stone surfaces.
Seating 85 guests, a veranda will overlook the golf courses and boast Corinthian columns, Coquina stone balustrades, and handcrafted railings of wrought iron, polished brass, and gold leaf. Two additional private dining rooms will be anchored by two walk-in, mirrored wine cellars.

The Trump National Doral Miami renovations will include the main building, guestrooms, lodges, conference areas, spa, member’s clubhouse, and champion’s pavilion. All five golf courses will be completely rebuilt, and the driving range will be lengthened and expanded to more than twice its current size.
“Part of our commitment in restoring this legendary resort is to elevate the food and beverage offerings to a level that resonates with our golf club members and hotel guests,” says Eric Trump, executive vice president of development and acquisitions. “To accommodate BLT Prime and provide an outstanding experience, we have extended the restaurant’s footprint toward the golf course to provide an experience that is up close and personal for golfers, residents, resort guests, and local clientele. Refined but casual, it will be ideal for everything from golfer and family dinners to business lunches and special events.
