Later this month, two Texas resorts will enhance their pool experiences. Gaylord Texan Resort will open Paradise Springs, a 10-acre pool complex. Features include a winding lazy river, lagoon with a walk-in beach, two horseshoe-shaped hot pools, a 27-foot waterslide, a designated toddler pool, and water basketball. The complex is full of non-pool amenities, too: a large campfire pit, bocce ball, croquet, tossers, shuffleboard, and a full-service bar and grill. In addition, guests have access to 1,270 loungers, beach chairs, and family-style rounds for seating and sun bathing; three sets of cabanas with flatscreen TVs and fire pits can also be rented daily.
At Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa, eight new poolside cabanas are loaded with amenities such as flatscreen TVs; refrigerators stocked with bottled water, juice, and fresh fruit; a safe; an electrical outlet for charging personal electronics; and two pillow-topped teak hardwood chaise lounge chairs.
