Viva Wyndham Resorts has redesigned guestrooms at its Maya Resort and created a new room category at the Azteca Resort, both of which are located in Playacar, Riviera Maya, Mexico. The refurbishment of guestrooms at the Viva Wyndham Maya include the Superior Plus rooms, which have been appointed with contemporary décor, including white walls with new modern artwork, a glass top built-in desk with white wood finishes, white bedding with ocean blue accents, and a flatscreen TV. The bathrooms feature a marble vanity with a countertop sink, full-sized mirror and glassed-in marble shower. The Superior Plus rooms also feature balconies with either a gardenview or oceanview.
Additionally, the Superior Deluxe rooms boast Caribbean-inspired contemporary décor, including tall built-in headboards with an interior light, tranquil ivory and light blue bedding, a modern rattan chair, marble floors, flatscreen TV, and balconies. Bathrooms in this room category boast a marble vanity with a double sink, marble walls, and a Jacuzzi tub. The resort is also offering Family Rooms, which comprise two connecting rooms and feature Wii and Xbox games.
Meanwhile, Viva Wyndham Azteca has a new oceanfront room category called the Honeymoon Suite. At 456 square feet, these rooms are larger than the Superior guestrooms and offer marble floors, white and orange bedding, rich wood furniture, entryway with a seating area for two, king size bed, flatscreen TV built into the wall, an open Jacuzzi tub with marble and glass walls, and a separate vanity area.
