Unifi will celebrate the grand opening of its new Central America plant in El Salvador on December 2nd. The facility, featuring eight texturing machines and 27 twisting machines, will provide the region with textured and twisted polyester filament yarns for a range of end uses.
“The expansion of Unifi manufacturing operations into Central America will allow the company to better support and service our customers in the region,” says Roger Berrier, executive vice president for Unifi. “This manufacturing operation will provide enhanced regional and global sourcing solutions to our growing customer base.”
