Jumeirah Group has signed on to manage VENU Bilgah Hotel, Baku, on the Caspian Sea in Azerbaijan. Scheduled to open next year, the hotel will occupy a wave-like structure designed by local architect Nazim Valiev. Features include 176 guestrooms and suites that face the sea, an all-day-dining restaurant and bar, two rooftop restaurants and bars, a spa with traditional Turkish and Finnish bath areas, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and a 16,000-square-foot conference center.
