Viceroy Hotel Group has announced the construction of the Viceroy New York, to be built on West 57th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues. In the style of uptown Manhattan but with the feel of a downtown hotel, the hotel will express individuality and contemporary design.
The Roman and Williams design team has fashioned Viceroy’s aesthetic in both the interior and the hotel façade. Metal details and classic woodwork are used concurrently for the customized interior. The tailored décor is used in the 240 luxury guestrooms, most of which offer views of Central Park. With a distinctively bold façade of black brick and steel, the building stands out from its midtown neighbors.
Offering rooftop dining and a signature restaurant along 57th street, the Viceroy New York offers amenities throughout the 29 stories. The property, currently in development by Ark Partners, will open in September 2013.
