Taj Hotels’ newest entry into Bangalore takes nature as a cue in its design. Throughout the Vivanta by Taj – Yeshwantpur, cut-out trees adorn feature walls, while floral patterns decorate screens, ceilings, and furnishings. Interiors also mimic the natural environment’s scenery with bold use of colors, forms, local art and craftsmanship.
At the arrival lobby, a double-volume space extends to the central garden courtyard that connects restaurants and banquet hall facilities, while the lounge employs warm earth tones in the soft furnishings, artwork, and accessories. The hotel offers 327 guestrooms and suites, including Temptation Suites comprising huge living areas and untold city views, as well as the Presidential Nirvana Suite, spread across 1,829 square feet that include a large dining area, kitchenette, and elegantly appointed bathrooms.
Distinctive F&B outlets are a hallmark of the hotel:
- Paranda, which features brick inlays, vibrant colors, dramatic lighting, a private dining room, and a unique glass-encased spice entrance
- The all-day-dining restaurant Palette, showcasing hip and edgy interiors like the custom ceiling design in floral patterns that doubles as the interior’s custom light fixtures
- Azure, outfitted in blue and white hues that represent water, along with a mosaic wall
- Shimmer, a high-energy bar designed with a fashion theme, complete with hues of fizzy pink and moody blacks, wall-sized mirrors, glossy lacquered furniture, and fiber optic lights
Other amenities include 18,000 square feet of banquet space; a pool; and Jiva Spa, which offers a relaxation room, hamman, tropical showers, hot loungers, and a sauna.
