The Southern California Development Forum (SCDF) will honor Gatehouse Capital this week with its 2009 Presidential Award for the W Hollywood Hotel & Residences, opening in January.
"The innovative modern design of the development, combined with a keen awareness of environmental sustainability, has truly positioned this project as worthy of honor," says SCDF president Hraztan Zeitlian. "It has raised the bar for sustainable, mixed-use development going forward."
The W Hollywood design team includes HKS Architects, Daly Genik Architects, Rios Clementi Hale Studios, designstudio ltd., Sussman/Prejza & Co., and Lendrum Fine Art.
