Starwood Hotel & Resorts will debut the W brand in Switzerland with the opening of W Verbier and the Residences at W Verbier. Slated to open in December 2013, W Verbier will be W’s first alpine and ski resort⎯⎯marking the entrance of W Hotels into Switzerland. 


Set at the base of the mountain in the Medran area of Verbier, W Verbier and the Residences at W Verbier will make up part of a multi-component luxury development project owned by Les Trois Rocs. The hotel will offer 123 rooms situated in four adjacent characteristic chalets on the Place Blanche⎯⎯the heart of the Medran Project.

Next to the hotel, a main gondola will offer access to the resort’s ski slopes. The 15 Residences will also be located right next to W Verbier and will be inspired by the hotel’s contemporary design.
