W Singapore – Sentosa Cove has debuted. WATG and Rockwell Group designed the 240-key hotel to reflect the city-state’s buzzing energy and the property’s tropical landscape surroundings on Sentosa Island. A waterfall with projections of vibrant graphic patterns on the water greets guests upon arrival, while the outdoor terrace features glowing grass lights, rock-shaped daybeds, and an over-scaled rock garden. Patterns evoking Singapore’s national flower, the Vanda Miss Joaquim Orchid, are on display throughout the hotel and serve as inspiration for guestrooms. In the hotel’s W Lounge, a DJ console carved out of natural stone serves as a centerpiece, overlooking the lawn, which illuminates in the evening.
The hotel’s F&B venues include SKIRT, all-day-dining restaurant Kitchen Table, WOOBAR nightclub, and the poolside WET bar. At the Away Spa, rainforest-inspired décor and natural sculptural pieces personify the exotic gardens of Singapore. Guests can stay in one of nine Away guestrooms and suites, located on the spa level of the hotel and each featuring a private plunge pool. Other amenities include a fitness center, pool deck featuring an expansive outdoor pool with 24 underwater speakers, and 16,000 square feet of meeting and event space. The project also includes 228 W-branded residences.
