W Hotels Worldwide has debuted in Russia with the opening of the W St. Petersburg. Milan-based Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel Partners oversaw the design, inspired by the architectural ancestry of the city and jewel tones of the Fabergé egg. Specifically, the designers focused on color, light, texture, and comfort to bring vibrancy and glamour to the hotel.
The hotel offers what it calls an “integrated contemporary lifestyle experience.” The hotel’s 137 guestrooms include there are 10 suites and one Extreme WOW Suite, all featuring custom-made furnishings with unique accents. Amenities include a signature restaurant, bar, and rooftop lounge by Alain Ducasse; spa with indoor pool; and a fitness center.
