W Hotels has debuted in Indonesia with W Retreat & Spa Bali – Seminyak. The design team-SCDA Architects, Poole Associates Private Limited, and AB Concept-relied on bold designs and textures to reveal the natural beauty and cultural heritage of the island. The W Lounge welcomes guests with a palette of tropical pinks and purples accented by oversized daybeds, a backlit bar glowing in LED lights, and lampshades woven from synthetic rattan to resemble pagoda roofs in Bali.
The resort’s 158 retreats and suites-many affording Indian Ocean views-exude high-energy interiors and vivid design. One-, two-, and three-bedroom villas feature private entrances and pool. W’s signature Away Spa includes the “Blue Room,” a pure oxygen-filled lounge, while the Wet pool deck offers a chic place to relax. F&B outlets encompass WooBar and signature restaurants Fire and Starfish Bloo, headed up by chef de cuisine Jack Yoss. A state-of-the-art fitness center rounds out the resort’s offerings.
