W Seattle has embarked on a makeover of some of its public spaces. Skylab Architecture of Portland, Oregon, is collaborating with the brand’s design group to transform the W’s restaurant into a new sustainable concept called TRACE, as well as the bar and living room. The hotel’s first floor will be closed for three months, but guests can catch a glimpse of the hotel’s future via a custom-created Peek-a-Booth interactive kiosk.
