Designed by Spanish architect Ricardo Bofill, the newly opened W Barcelona marks the brand’s debut in Spain. Bofill has crafted a 26-story sail-shaped structure that showcases views of the Mediterranean Sea and city from nearly each of the hotel’s 473 guestrooms. The property is outfitted with W’s signature touches, including Bliss Spa; the lounge welcome experience; SWEAT fitness facility, complete with resident DJs; and WET, which comprises an infinity-edged pool and bar, multiple sun terraces, exterior lounge decks, and fully equipped cabanas.
