Salon and barbershop CRISP has unveiled its second location in the Saint-Henri section of Montreal. Crafted by locally based interior design and architecture firm Ivy Studio, the 700-square-foot space embraces a minimalist sensibility, as well as a raw palette that sets it apart from its predecessor.
Guests are welcomed by a series of tall pampas that partially obscure the interior, which is populated by a service counter, six barber stations, and a waiting area. Raw steel plates dominates the material palette, while walls are finished with handmade faux fini paint. Shelving lines an entire 40-foot-long wall along with a sprawling mirror to add depth. A backlit, steel-cut CRISP logo also adorns the rear wall to match signage up front.
