New York-based architect and interior designer Peter Marino reimagined Louis Vuitton’s London boutique in a vibrant color palette and full of artful details. Located in the city’s fancy New Bond Street, the expansive store is animated with a dramatic starburst-like installation along its façade, in addition to featuring the works of artists such as Tracey Emin, Campana Brothers, and Sarah Crowner across its floors.
The double-height interiors of the updated Louis Vuitton Maison are lined with sand-colored stone tiles, where perforated pods designed by the Campana Brothers are suspended above shoppers. A double-helix-inspired spiral staircase composed of oak links the store’s four floors, while a second staircase is lined with multicolored stripes of tape. Glass-topped tables are installed upon carpeting that wears lush tones of red, yellow, and checkerboard patterns as the brand’s silk scarves are hung against gridded brass frames for a dash of whimsy.
