RH Reveals Plans to Develop First “RH Ecosystem” in Aspen

RH has announced its investment of $105 million in connection with real estate development initiatives in Aspen, Colorado. The investment includes properties that will be developed into retail outposts, as well as hospitality concepts, workforce housing, and residential developments. “We believe Aspen represents a singular opportunity to elevate the RH brand by exposing the world of RH to the world’s most affluent and discerning customers in a single, walkable market,” says Gary Friedman, RH chairman and CEO. “Additionally, we believe the education RH will gain from a real estate development and ownership perspective will be immeasurable as the brand builds its global ecosystem of products, places, services, and spaces.” Aspen will see the rollout of the first RH ecosystem, which will include an RH Bespoke Gallery, RH Guesthouse, RH Bath House & Spa, RH Restaurants, and the inauguration of RH Residences. The RH Gallery, which is currently under construction, will showcase the brand’s product collections across two floors, as well as offer interior design, architecture, and landscape architecture services. The space will also include a transparent glass rooftop restaurant and a wine and barista bar. The RH Guesthouse at the Historic Crystal Palace will feature a live fire restaurant, wine vault, private rooftop pool and dining terrace, and suites outfitted with fireplaces. Five fully furnished, four-bedroom custom homes will compose the RH Residences at the Historic Boomerang Lodge, while the RH Residences on Red Mountain will feature a fully furnished six-bedroom home adorned with numerous terraces and an infinity pool.
