Starwood’s Four Points by Sheraton brand is on track to receive its first LEED hotel with the 164-key Four Points by Sheraton Tallahassee Downtown, opening this summer. The property will occupy a 12-story round landmark building that recently housed a Holiday Inn following an extensive multimillion-dollar renovation. UHG Consulting, a sustainability consulting firm specializing in LEED certification and green building, is working with the hotel to advance its sustainability initiatives, achieve total cost savings from energy efficiency, and create public awareness of its green practices.
Amenities will include all-day dining, more than 6,700 square feet of indoor conference space and 2,000 square feet of outdoor space, fitness room, and business center.
