Green Globe Certification is collaborating with BookDifferent.com, a website that indicates which of the hotels featured on its site are eco-labeled. Users will be able to quickly track down accommodation with Green Globe-certified sustainability performances while supporting the charity of their choice. The Green Globe Certification label is a search criterion, just like the hotel facilities, hotel category, location, and so on.
“All Green Globe members are rigorously certified under 41 criteria, which have been accepted globally as the definition of sustainable travel and tourism,” says Guido Bauer, the organization’s CEO. “To complete the certification process, these members undergo an independent on-site audit to ensure their sustainability efforts have been thoroughly inspected.”
