Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa in Bonita Springs, Florida, has received the 2011 Chrysalis Award for eco-innovation from the Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau and the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce. The resort strives for sustainability through practices such as paperless check-in at the front desk, a paperless purchase order system, automated temperature control in vacant guestrooms, and CFLs and recycling bins in all public areas. The property was also the first in the state to attain Florida Green Lodging’s Three Palm certification.
