Sherwin-Williams has added two eco-friendly products to its stable: Emerald paints and ColorCast Eco Turners. Emerald Interior paint, which is GreenGuard Indoor Air Quality certified, emits minimal odor and features anti-microbial properties that inhibit the growth of mold and mildew on the paint film. It also prevents stains from penetrating and resists water streaking and spotting. Emerald Exterior features high resistance to blistering, peeling, chalking, fading, mildew, and dirt pickup.
Meanwhile, the ColorCast Eco Toners tinting system does not add to the VOC content of any coating. The colorants will be used in Emerald paints and all other Sherwin-Williams latex and water-based coatings. Both products will be available July 1st.
