The Six Senses Douro Valley in Lamego, Portugal has introduced its new Vineyard Wing, which is equipped with seven suites, three new guestrooms, and a meeting space equipped for up to 70 guests. The 19th-century manor house overlooks the lush 19-acre estate. The property now comprises a total of 60 guestrooms and suites, three restaurants, indoor and outdoor pools, and 10 spa treatment rooms.
Ranging from 430 to 1,140 square feet, the new Vineyard Wing accommodations features details like vintage vineyard tools and artwork inspired by wooden wine cases to instill a rustic sense of place. New meeting facilities include “writable” wall spaces, a large open skylight, and a full-height living wall that allows the venue to transform into a quiet lounge, cinema, or lecture space.
Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas also recently unveiled its fifth and final lodge at its Bhutan resort.
