Located in a 98-year-old cottage on Florida’s Anna Maria Island, the Village Café at Rosedale has made a sustainable debut. The restaurant uses a series of green practices, including solar thermal panels, geothermal cooling and heating systems, and high-performance water equipment. A coastal mauve hue informs the café, finished in low-VOC paints, sealants, and solvents.
The venue is also the first business to open on the Historic Green Village, a sustainable development and Florida’s first LEED Platinum and Zero Net Energy2 retail park.
