Carpet manufacturer Tai Ping has earned silver sustainable carpet certification from NSF International. The NSF/ANSI 140-2007 Sustainable Carpet Assessment accounts for every stage in the production and distribution processes, from the use of recycled materials to factory emissions to the quality of the working environment. With the certification, Tai Ping carpets can contribute to LEED certification.
The certification also coincides with the launch of the company’s new blog called "Towards Sustainability," which outlines the Tai Ping’s green efforts.
