Wyndham Worldwide has received LEED Silver certification for its Parsippany, New Jersey, headquarters. The offices meet LEED standards for energy use, lighting, water, and material use. The building—powered by wind purchased from an energy company—also incorporates a variety of other sustainable strategies, including the use of recycled materials throughout the building, as well as low-VOC paints, carpets, and furniture.
The certification enhances the company’s existing Wyndham Green program, which has six areas of focus, including energy conservation, water conservation, recycle/reuse, education, community, and innovation.
