I’m obsessed with: Finding designer clip-on earrings off TheRealReal.
Pinch me because: I’ve joined the ranks of my inspirations, like Danu Kennedy [design director, Parts and Labor Design), Jaclyn Moser (partner, Harken Interiors] and Erin Heckert [former design director, Gettys ONE]. This is such an honor.
Trends I’m tracking: High tech that feels low tech. Making a hotel have the tactility of a home is my ultimate goal. My favorite spaces always feel like my wardrobe, except with natural materials: wood, stone, fresh flowers, and plants; black, white, tan, cognac, and mixed metals with small-scale patterns, textures, and found objects combined and layered to feel lived in.
My dream client: I’m loving small-scale hospitality, so Auric Road. I visited Hotel Joaquin last year [a petite resort in Laguna Beach, California and Gold Key winner for Best Guestroom Upscale and finalist for Best Lobby Upscale]. It was one of the best hospitality experiences I’ve ever had as a young adult millennial. They are creating memorable experiences in their spaces with authentic materials, F&B, wellness, and curated adventure.
