Shaw Contract teamed up with architect Mike Ford on a collection of rugs and broadloom inspired by elements of hip hop music, including Knowledge (shown), where the complexities of lyrical analysis are expressed through design. Additionally, a percentage of the proceeds from the collection will support Ford’s Hip Hop Architecture Camps, which aim to introduce unrepresented youth to the world of architecture and design.
