Kumiko, Kaneka OLED’s new Japanese OLED, serves as a decorative fixture and architectural design element with nickel-plated mirrored tiles designed by Michiru Tanaka. The lighting lines reference traditional patterned woodwork in Japanese screens, as well as stained glass with its diffused emission. The piece also transforms into a reflective mirror when powered down.
