The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and HD announced this year’s winners at HD Expo in May
The International Interior Design Association (IIDA), in partnership with Hospitality Design magazine, announced the winners of the 28th annual IIDA/HD Expo Product Design Awards in Las Vegas on May 7th. The competition recognizes products that excel in seven different criteria: aesthetics, cost and value, design innovation, environmental responsibility, need, technical advancements, and usage.
This year’s jury of design professionals included Derek Chen, project manager at LPA; Peter Harrison, president of the IIDA Oregon Chapter; and Michelle Widner, senior interior designer and project manager at Architects West.

With sculptural lines, precision engineering, and six customizable finishes, the durable Ocean Master MAX Bolero: Ombré Blossom parasol by Tuuci boasts a domed 12-foot canopy that features 336 handtufted floral accents in a cascading pattern.
Casegoods + Freestanding Furniture: Individual
Boasting integrated electrical housing, hidden shelving, and a branding-ready, patent-pending tambour panel system, Vertical Ledge’s Carrello is a modular F&B cart that is made with FSC-certified wood.
Bath + Spa
Elvari washroom accessories from Bradley bring a curvilinear look to bathrooms with accessories that include dispensers, grab bars, and LED mirrors. Available in six resilient finishes, the pieces feature Greenguard Gold-certified stainless steel construction.
Flooring
Inspired by rural Indian weavers’ personal experiences, each handtufted rug of the Manchaha collection from Jaipur Living is customizable, eco-certified, and made with premium wool, combining sustainability with cultural expression and commercial-grade performance.
Electronics + Technology
Kinetic from Astek is a cutting-edge wallcovering series powered by video. Designers can select individual frames from hundreds of visuals—each crafted using a proprietary process—to create custom murals, resulting in endless possibilities.
Lighting: Individual
The Melt chandelier, designed by Workshop/APD for Arteriors Contract, captures fluid motion with clear glass drops that appear to melt midair. Suspended from antique brass-plated iron, the sculptural fixture offers flexible ceiling mounts for dramatic customization.

Wrapped in natural leather with colorful contrast stitching and satin brass accents, Kalco Lighting’s Cape wall sconce conceals integrated LED lighting that casts a warm up-and-down glow.
Seating
Upholstered in a choice of textiles or nine 3D knit colors made from recycled plastic bottles, the Avalon lounge chair by KFI Studios is made from a steel frame that supports a split seat and back design. It can also be paired with an optional accessory, including a height-adjustable swivel table or privacy screen.
Outdoor: Individual
Arteriors Contract’s Iggy chair features a sculptural barrel-shaped seat with a crisscross pattern woven from synthetic tan rattan. A split-back design and fluid silhouette give it a light, floating presence from leg to raised arms to seat.
Outdoor: Group + Series
Designed by Ann Marie Vering, Brown Jordan’s lavish Luca sofa channels polo-inspired elegance with softly curved arms reminiscent of horse irons. Available with teak or powdercoated aluminum accents, it pairs sculptural form with plush comfort.
Applied Finishes + Materials
Made in Italy, Fluida from Arizona Tile is a rectified color body porcelain series that channels layered mineral formations into a sleek, organic aesthetic. Produced using digital print technology, the collection offers a soft, striated appearance and comes in a range of sizes, including mosaics and mesh patterns.
Textiles
Six high-performance textiles—including zebra-inspired Zara and jewel-toned Souza—offer elegance, durability, and sustainable design across the Glint + Glimmer collection from Momentum Textiles & Wallcovering, which is Greenguard Gold certified, PFAS-free, and bleach-cleanable.
Wallcoverings
With hand-laid oak and paulownia wood veneers, Modern Muse by Phillip Jeffries transforms walls into sculptural statements. Featuring large-scale, abstract motifs and artisanal detailing, the wallcovering is available in four refined colorways.
Fixtures + Hardware
Schluter’s Kerdi-Line and Kerdi-Line-Vario linear drains now come in Trendline textured color finishes, offering barrier-free drainage for contemporary showers. Soft, earthy tones coordinate with the company’s tile trim profiles and shelves for a cohesive look.
Sustainability
Crafted from high-quality aluminum using FiDU technology, the Prozessdesign Ultraleggera from Zieta is the world’s lightest metal chair. At just 3.65 pounds, the monomaterial piece can support more than 2,600 pounds and is fully recyclable.
