“Most steakhouses tend to appear masculine and we have relaxed this a bit with the reference to the locale,” says designer Juliana Kerschen of Atlanta-based Johnson Studio, who completed the design of the city-center steak restaurant in collaboration with the firm’s principal, Bill Johnson, and project manager Keith Schutz.

The space is three levels and includes a full kitchen, bar, dining areas, and exterior lighting. “White marble bars, walnut wood paneling, polished brass, and a shot of green throughout show the influence of the city,” says Kerschen.

“The historical monuments, high powered businesses, and energetic activity of the city influenced the materials and interior of the restaurant space,” Kerschen adds. Custom charcoal sheers in the private dining area reference a business suit and help keep the dining space intimate.
