Located in San Diego’s La Jolla Village development, the mixed-use site features indoor-outdoor spaces, a bar area, café, seven theater auditoriums, and a lobby dining area—all highlighted by earth tones, such as in this wood-clad restaurant patio.

The property’s beachy aesthetic centers on angled woods and textural details that “are what made the spaces pop,” says designer Ezequiel Farca, who wanted visitors to “feel as if the venue were an extension of their home.”

The bar features an open layout to integrate with surrounding spaces, though walnut dividers create the illusion of intimacy amongst slender tables with bar-height seating. The space adjoins the Lot restaurant—a coastal-casual eatery helmed by local chef Matt Sramek.

“We wanted to use materials with soft tones that are classy and timeless yet bold in design,” explains Farca, who juxtaposed these elements with an eclectic assortment of contemporary local art.

The luxury cinema’s seven dine-in auditoriums are equipped with LED lighting, tech-forward laser projectors, leather reclining seats, acoustical paneling, and carpeting with a wave-like pattern.
