The Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol hotel atrium creates a ripple effect as it cascades 137 feet from a glazed rooftop down to the open-concept Axis Lobby, which features a lounge library and cocktail bar.

Glazed windows in the ballroom’s prefunction space screen the traverse that links the airport to the hotel.

The Bowery restaurant nods to its location with a sharp blue and white palette  inspired by traditional Delft pottery, while leather banquettes are lined with eye-catching timber molds of Dutch speculaas cookies.

The 10th-floor executive lounge includes a library area with high-backed leather armchairs and panoramic views of the airport and city.

Lace embroidery and crochet motifs in the guestrooms highlight the design’s Dutch touches. Artwork depicting Netherlands skylines and crisp white and gray walls complement the headboard’s golden hue.

Striking M.C. Escher-inspired polygon woodcut floors span the 11th-floor Diamond suite. 

Amsterdam’s iconic canals influenced the pattern of the Diamond suite’s blue carpeting, which balances the dark timber paneling.
