Having designed Hôtel du Ministère’s primary building in 2011, Agence François Champsaur was called back to augment the property’s 24 accommodations with 11 standard guestrooms, two split-level guestrooms, and five duplex suites—all with a bold and artful aesthetic rooted in colorful patterns.

“I look to art for inspiration,” says Agence François Champsaur founder François Champsaur, who used neutral flooring as a backdrop for brightly hued décor in select accommodations. “Our color palette was influenced by [Piet] Mondrian, [Joan] Miró, and other contemporary masters.”
