Influenced by temple and village architecture, Phuket-based studio NagaConcepts designed the new-build Àni Villas Thailand to connect guests to the tropical location, while also taking into account building regulations governing height and size. 

A glazed terracotta-lined swimming pool links the resort’s public areas.

The master bedroom in a pool suite is clad in light oak and Thai redwood paneling that complements the room’s neutral fabrics.

Disguised as wood, guestroom floors are made from ceramic tiles selected to endure sun exposure and rainwater. 

Suites feature freestanding deep-soaking, stone-composite bathtubs.

Lit by sculptural steel chandeliers, the open dining sala, with its 16-foot-long communal table, offers panoramic ocean views.

Social spaces such as the bar naturally connect the indoors with the outdoors.

The living salas’ Lanna-style architecture is defined by tiered, sloping roofs and decorative gold-leaf columns.
