“The rooms are designed identically around four key spaces,” says Paris-based designer Patrick Norguet, “night, work, storage, bath—in harmonious tones of light or dark.” The result is a classy, yet industrial look punctuated by a mix of high-performance and European-style furniture and bright pops of color.

Bright yellow walls mark the modern entrance, which forgoes the traditional check-in desk.

To create a warm, intimate atmosphere, the angles of the spaces are softened by long curved curtains that conceal the dressing area.

Social spaces are the hallmark hub of the hotels, and the Club at Okko Hotels Lyon features various options for guests to lounge, eat, socialize, or work.

While the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, the Kitchen—a space for breakfast, snacks, and refreshments—is backed by large floral artwork and features a communal table and black pendant lighting.

The vast lounge is splashed with bright modular sofas and ottomans in cream, taupe, cherry red, and aqua hues.

Industrial-style lighting and black tiled walls mark the Club’s business area.
