Andaz Wall Street has unveiled two F&B venues designed by David Rockwell. Showcasing market-to-table fare from the Hudson Valley, Wall & Water restaurant offers a chef’s table overlooking an open show kitchen, along with a private dining room outfitted with a residential-style bar and plush furnishings. Rockwell used earthy materials such as end-grain bamboo and cerused oak. Design details play into the history of the neighborhood, from the light fixtures designed to look like miniature pearls for Pearl Street to the walls and ceilings.
Meanwhile, at Bar Seven Five, a contemporary design features bar stations where guests can move around freely and interact with the bartenders. Prohibition-style cocktails are delivered tableside in custom made carts once used in Pullman rail cars from the 1800s.
