Boutique Design (BD) magazine is excited to announce its annual Up-and-Coming Hotelier honor, which recognizes emerging visionaries reshaping how hotels look, feel, and operate to elevate the guest experience.
This year’s recipients are Ben Weinberg and Mike Weiss, cofounders of Trailborn, an outdoor-centric hotel brand rooted in iconic natural destinations.
Launched in December 2023, Trailborn has expanded quickly. Its fourth property, Trailborn Surf & Sound, debuted earlier this year along the coast of North Carolina’s Wrightsville Beach, joining outposts in the Highlands, the Grand Canyon, and the Rocky Mountains. Additional properties in Mendocino, California and Jackson Hole, Wyoming, are also on the horizon.
Weinberg and Weiss will be featured in the Fall 2025 issue of Boutique Design magazine, where they share the story and vision behind Trailborn.
