Carl D’Silva has joined the Chicago office of Perkins+Will to serve as a new managing principal. D’Silva spent more than 20 years working in the Chicago office of JAHN Architecture as a principal architect and vice president. A graduate of the Virginia Tech School of Architecture+Design, D’Silva’s portfolio has earned him numerous National Honors awards from the American Institute of Architects.
“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Carl to Perkins+Will,” says Perkins+Will managing director Gina Berndt. “Carl’s knowledge of all aspects of the design and delivery of large, varied, and complex projects, from airports and corporate headquarters to convention centers and baseball stadiums, plus his proven ability to coordinate teams of contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders, are enormous assets for Perkins+Will and our clients.”
“Perkins+Will has demonstrated how a practice can grow successfully while still embracing its core design ethos,” D’Silva adds. “I’m excited to join this continual transition to the future.”
