Valentina Castellon has been elevated to serve as DLR Group’s hospitality interior design leader. Since joining the firm in 2013 as an intern, Castellon has contributed to the hospitality studio on more than 20 projects including the Canopy by Hilton Minneapolis Mill District, the Vanguard – Marriott Autograph Collection, and the forthcoming Dream Las Vegas. She became a principal in 2020.
“I am thrilled to lead such talented professionals in my new role, and I’m eager to use my design voice to continue to evolve our hospitality practice,” Castellon says. “The hospitality studio has attracted a team of truly gifted designers, taking on increasingly sophisticated clients and notable projects. I see this as a new chapter and I am excited to continue to grow our hospitality interiors practice.”
Castellon is a board member of the Network of Executive Women in Hospitality, has been featured in Hospitality Design, and was recognized by Boutique Design magazine, HD’s sister publication, as part of the 2020 Boutique 18 rising star class.
