Dream Hotel Group has announced the appointment of Christian Glauser-Benz as vice president of development for Latin America and the Caribbean. Lending nearly 15 years of expertise to portfolio expansion efforts, Glauser-Benz will steer the company’s four lifestyle brands (Dream Hotels, Time Hotels, the Chatwal, and Unscripted Hotels brands) to grow across both markets.
“Our pipeline in this part of the world has grown significantly over the last several months, with plans to announce several new deals in the coming months. It is exciting to have someone of Christian’s caliber join the team at such a pivotal moment in our trajectory,” says Dream Hotel Group chief development officer David Kuperberg.
Glauser-Benz previously served as vice president of West Coast and Hawaiian hospitality developments for Jones Lang LaSalle and as vice president at Oppenheim Architecture, where he focused on global expansion efforts. Glauser-Benz received a graduate degree in finance and international management from the University of Geneva in Switzerland, a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Tulane University in New Orleans, and a master’s of architecture from Columbia University in New York.
