Real estate and investment firm JLL has tapped Eric Jassin to head of the group’s New York practice where he will oversee all hotel- and hospitality-related project design and construction teams. Jassin has been in the industry for more than 15 years, previously working with GFI Development, Adache Group Architects, and Kobi Karp Architecture. A graduate of the University of Miami School of Architecture, Jassin, a registered architect, is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the New York Building Congress, and the New York chapter of NEWH.
The firm has also added Rachel McCaslin, who will serve as an associate project manager. Formerly an interior design professional with HOK, McCaslin is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University as well as a LEED Green Associate and a WELL Accredited Professional.
“Rachel McCaslin will be a terrific addition to JLL’s PDS practice,” says Jassin. “Our clients will greatly benefit from her previous experience in the design and construction of hotel and hospitality projects both in New York and around the globe. Rachel has a tremendous eye for detail and will be crucial in assisting the firm with planning, developing and managing budgets, schedules, and project consultants to ensure we provide our hospitality clients with the level of service they expect when they hire JLL.”
