Alhambra, California-based manufacturer Mandy Li Collection has announced the acquisition of Los Angeles-based furniture wholesaler Vaughan Benz. The partnership will expand the supply chains and market shares of both companies, as well as broaden mutual capabilities with manufacturing facilities in China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Mexico, and the United States.
“Mandy, Scott [Vaughan], and I share the same values, and we’re delighted and excited that Mandy will take the company that Scott and I founded to a new level of success with the same commitment to quality, outstanding execution, and integrity that Scott and I have so passionately strived for since 1986,” says David Benz, president and of Vaughan Benz. “We look forward to continuing to serve our customers and working with Mandy and her team to create amazing furniture for the world’s finest hotels in the years to come.”
Benz will continue to serve new and existing clients with Vaughan Benz, while CEO Scott Vaughan will oversee the transition and offer his expertise in the future as a consultant. The pair is also pursuing commercial real estate investment as well.
