Design firm Perkins+Will has appointed Tom Hupe as director of hospitality based in its London office.
Hupe will manage and oversee projects, acting as a point of contact for operators and developers while providing specialist hotel consultancy, as well as feasibility and design audit work.
Hupe has more than 15 years of experience of working in the hotel and leisure sector, where he’s been responsible for the design and project delivery of a diverse range of hotel projects alongside feasibility and design audit work. His previous projects include overseeing the conversion of Sea Containers House on the south bank of the River Thames into a 359-room Mondrian hotel for the Morgans Hotel Group, the delivery of the award-winning luxury hotel at Coworth Park for the Dorchester Collection, as well as the 600-bedroom Sofitel London Heathrow and the Marriott Hotel, Leicester.
