Austin-based design firm StudioSIX5 has revealed plans to expand its services with the launch of Shift Design Studio, a new branch of the practice dedicated to upscale multifamily, hospitality, and student housing developments. “Shift” was chosen for inclusion in the name of the new branch to convey the concept of motion—particularly moving forward. Positioned to pivot design norms and vault concepts further ahead.
