New Haven, Connecticut–based architecture firm Svigals + Partners has promoted six team members to the associate level.
“This decision by the partners and principals to elevate key team members to the Associate level is a recognition of their critical contributions to our success and continued growth,” says managing partner Jay Brotman. “But it’s also more than that: By identifying and investing in the next generation of firm leadership, we are re-committing ourselves to the Svigals + Partners vision of a world of prosperous, compassionate communities into the next generation.”
Katelyn Chapin is a graduate of Roger Williams University and serves as the 2020–2021 community director for the AIA National Young Architects Forum. She also received the Emerging Architect honor from the AIA-CT in 2014. Also a Roger Williams graduate, Jeremy Jamilkowski is sculptor and architect and continuously promotes the architectural integration of art. Brian Stancavage holds a master’s degree in architecture from the University of Hartford and maintain a prowess in building information technology. Omarys Vasquez is a graduate of the Pratt Institute, a member of the AIA-CT Women in Architecture Committee, and a founding member of the emerging Connecticut chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA). A WELL-accredited professional and a graduate of Suffolk University, Katherine Berger will continue to promote the well-being of occupants in her work. Joseph Rufrano, a New York Institute of Technology graduate, holds a LEED accreditation.
